BEIJING, June 25, 2025 — Beijing Royal Integrative Medicine Hospital (BRIMH), an affiliate of Fazheng Group, hosted the “2025 Sino-French Medical Seminar” today, a pivotal event in the “Linking East and West” academic exchange series. The symposium brought together a cohort of preeminent clinical experts and senior scholars from China and France to discuss the future of integrative medicine through multidisciplinary dialogue and cross-cultural clinical practice.

Technical Collaboration and Clinical Breakthroughs
The seminar served as a high-level technical exchange, transcending geographical boundaries to address critical global health challenges.
Neuropsychiatry: Viorica Celacu presented French diagnostic protocols for pediatric and adolescent mental disorders. In response, BRIMH experts Sha Jie and Dr. Gao Xuguang engaged in a technical debate on the role of acupuncture and TCM herbal formulations in psychiatric interventions.

Advanced Acupuncture: Chen Feng, Director of Acupuncture, detailed the anatomical targeting and clinical efficacy of the “Seven Cranial Points” (Cranial-Base Acupoints). Director Liu Yunxia demonstrated the efficacy of Umbilical Acupuncture through evidence-based case studies.

Healthcare Administration: Flore Deboscker outlined the logistical challenges of the French correctional healthcare system, which was met with a comparative analysis of China’s medical security for detainees provided by BRIMH Vice President Li Legong.

Oncology & Respiratory Care: Amandine Charbonnier introduced emerging oncological technologies from France, while Dr. Zhang Yuewei showcased advancements in interventional radiology for hepatobiliary tumors. Dr. Xia Guoguang, Chief Physician of Respiratory Medicine, presented a meta-analysis of integrative therapies for chronic respiratory conditions.

Recognizing Global TCM Leadership
A highlight of the event was the official conferment of the “International TCM Heritage Ambassador” title upon Dr. Nhan Tám, Head of the Paul Claudel Medical Center in Amiens. Ms. Pan Jun, Vice Chairperson of Fazheng Group and the strategic visionary behind the Sino-French program, presented the medal, acknowledging Dr. Tám’s distinguished contribution to the global dissemination of TCM.

“Since the inaugural forum in 2023, our collaboration has grown from an initial group of 10 experts to over 50 medical elites,” stated Ms. Pan Jun. “We are now moving beyond exchange toward institutionalized continuing education. Our goal is to establish a normalized mechanism that provides differentiated, high-level TCM training tailored to European clinical needs.”

Systematic Institutionalization of TCM Training
The seminar also celebrated the graduation of the “2025 Senior TCM Clinical Fellowship for French Physicians.” Co-developed by Fazheng Group, Sorbonne Paris North University, and BRIMH, the seven-day intensive program provided 27 French physicians with a comprehensive immersion in TCM theory and practical application—ranging from moxibustion and catgut embedding to dietary therapy.

Closing Vision: Integrating Millennia of Wisdom with Modern Science
Mr. Wang Guangfa, Chairman of Fazheng Group and BRIMH, awarded the fellowship certificates and articulated the hospital’s strategic mission. “The convergence of French clinical rigor with TCM’s millennia of heritage is not merely a dialogue; it is the catalyst for a new medical paradigm,” Chairman Wang remarked.

“We are committed to a ‘Three-in-One’ framework—integrating clinical practice, research translation, and cultural diplomacy. By aligning TCM clinical standards with international Western medical systems, we ensure that these integrative breakthroughs directly benefit patients worldwide,” he concluded.
